NAMM WORLD FINALS 2016

One thing you can always count on is WFD-World’s Fastest Drummer, Extreme Sport Drumming during Summer NAMM is HOT- HOT- HOT!!! So HOT in fact this year’s competition had to be held in its very own specified room @ Nashville’s Music City Center.
The WFD competition consisted of two categories, Battle of the Hands™ and Battle of the Feet™. The Preliminary Heats were held June 23 and 24th. The top ten Fastest Hands and top ten Fastest Feet then stepped into battle at WFD World Finals on Saturday, June 25th with contenders vying from USA, Canada, Korea, Netherlands and China.
Included in this year’s event was the ‘home coming’ and special opening appearance by WFD Champ and World Record Holder Seth ‘Bad Boy’ Davis. Watch the full video of Seth’s Introduction HERE. Also appearing was the ever lovely and talented Miss WFD 2016 Marley Richiez. Master of ceremonies and referee was WFD champ Eric Okamoto.
The Battle of the Feet winner was Felix Garza III of New Braunfels, TX with a score of 847 Singles, followed by second place Dan Laskowski of Windsor, Canada (754), and third place Seolmin Lee of Korea (719).
The Battle of the Hands winner was Lizhou Wang of China with an amazing 1057 Singles in 60 seconds. Nick Stefano of New Jersey placed second (954), while Jeff Meloen of Nashville, TN with 927 placed third. WFD welcomes Lizhou to the WFD 1000 Club!
