Drumometer & WFD Champion Tom Grosset were #12 on the Outrageous Acts of Science Countdown in their newest episode on March 14th on the Science Channel. A discussion on the science of drumming resulted after the cast viewed the video of Tom as he broke the world record for most strokes in 60 seconds claiming the World's Fastest Drummer Battle of the Hands rank of Champion.
The show's cast of scientific experts then tried their hand at the 60 second challenge. Physicist, Saad Sarwana, was the "World's Fastest Expert" on the show with 879 strokes in 60 seconds. 2nd place went to Hakeem Oluseyi with 675 who was followed closely behind by 3rd place winner Amy Elliot with 651 strokes.
